From September 2nd, 2016, in one of building of the Arsenale , Maurizio Molin is back to exhibit in Venice with "ROW” (Venezia e la Voga). This art exhibition will take you inside an ancient art, the Venetian rowing and the color of the Venetian Lagoon.
Row, an ancient gesture of daily life born to move around Venice. Become an art , the city of Venice dedicate every year, la Regata Storica in order to not forget the past. Today this artist tells a story that begins with a gesture considered at the same time, elegant, light and powerful in one of the most amazing location of the world: the lagoon of Venice with its unforgetable reflections and colours.
You will find then portrait of some of the most popular rowers of the past as well as those closest to us. The works are the result of a deep love that he himself lives in person when he rows around the lagoon.
This is a Maurizio tribute to this ancient tradition whit his personal modern interpretation.

MAURIZIO MOLIN
Artist and designer was born in venice in 1969 where he begins his creative pya and professional at a well-know Venetian craftsman.After attending school learn to steer Maurizio his creative instincts to reach a unique and original product , riding his talent by winning some contests.From this beginning in simple but full of vibration, Maurizio turns its attention to the world of Design work for major companies in the field of fashion and sports which lead to different markets (Europe, South America, China, Japan and USA)maturing an international vision. Maurizio and his family moved to USA, and inspired by new spaces that surround it finds new expression of himself through painting.
His works are read in layers: from a primitive research of the ego tends to reorder its irrational and solitary through creative solution dominated by rationality of designers using geometries.
