Artigitale - Craftmanship and innovation, a window into the future
experimentations, workshops, talks: how traditional handcraft is evolving
When craftmanship and digital tools meet, the results are beautiful, well manufactured, innovative objects. An exhibition, three seminars and three experimentation appointments with machines let us discover how new advanced tools are placed at the service of traditional and artistic manufacturing. The exhibition will present projects and products made by Venetian artisans, also in collaboration with Fablab Venezia and using new technologies. Craftmen have always been innovators by vocation and the future of craftsmanship will also develop in the dialogue between skilled hands and digital technologies.
Artisans and enterprises that are taking part in the exhibition: Vetreria Salviati, Seres, Eat and Run Lab, Patrizia Polese, Dario Cestaro, Venetian Mask, Liuteria Cadamuro, Lamon Marmi, Marmi e Graniti Muffato, Metallurgica Mainardi, maestro vetraio bruno Barovier, Carlos Travaini.
From 9th to 11th December 2022, at the Scuola Grande di San Teodoro, Campo San Bartolomeo, Venezia.
Opening hours: 10 AM - 6 PM. Free entry to the exhibition and the events
