Natale 2022 a Venezia

 

Starting the event is the lighting of the illuminations, on 21th November, the day of the Festa della Salute. 

 

The illuminations will light up Strada Nuova, the main gateway to Venice, the junction between the City of water and the City of land, as well as St. Mark's Square and the Marciana area, and the various routes in the sestieri of Santa Croce, Cannaregio, San Polo, Dorsoduro, St. Mark's and Castello. The illuminations in the historic centre of Venice see the collaboration of the Venice City Council, Vela Spa, and the Venice Chamber of Commerce, to support those who live in and visit the City this Christmas. In addition, American Express, once again active in the project as sponsor of the illuminations in the areas of Piazzale Roma, Lista di Spagna, and Strada Nuova, participates in particular to support the Venetian commercial fabric. 

 

The collaboration with Consorzio di Tutela della Denominazione di Origine Controllata Prosecco, official sparkling wine of the event, continues. 

 

An almost continuous flow of lights - also in the islands of the Lagoon, from Lido to Pellestrina, from Murano to Burano up to Sant'Erasmo and Vignole - to illuminate every community in the Venetian territory.

 

On 2 December it will be the turn of the tree in St Mark's Square, with a concert of Joy Singers, while on 3 December the Venice ice rink will also be inaugurated.
