Piazza Ferretto and the shopping streets: trees and illuminations to experience the Christmas spirit!

The heart of Christmas in Mestre will be Piazza Ferretto, which, with the adjacent central areas, as well as all the 'cities of Venice' from the mainland to the islands, will enchant with lights and sparkling decorations to give children feelings of wonder and amazement. In Piazza Ferretto, which is the ideal place for Christmas shopping and to experience the spirit of the festivities in a cosy and welcoming environment, a large tree will be the protagonist, together with Christmas installations, veritable sculptures of light, that from Piazza Ferretto will extend along the main shopping streets in Mestre: from the most central ones such as Viale Garibaldi, Corso del Popolo, Via Piave, Via Carducci, Via Miranese, Via Circonvallazione, Piazzale Leonardo da Vinci, Viale San Marco, Via Torre Belfredo, to the outermost ones, reaching even the centres of Campalto, Chirignago, Favaro, Gazzera, Marghera, Tessera, Trivignano and Zelarino. 

 

The shopping streets will be illuminated from 21 November 2023, while the illuminations and the tree in Piazza Ferretto will light up on Thursday 23 November 2023.

 

Many colourful wooden huts will be open every day, in collaboration with Confesercenti and Ascom, to accompany Christmas shopping, among handcrafted products and gastronomic delights, accompanied by the scent of cinnamon and mulled wine! Discover the details by clicking here.
