American artist Joel Itman lives and workds in Italy and France. Itman is inspired by innumerable Jewish ceremonial objects, which become the basis of his ceramic works and his unique Jewish calendar (in English, French and Italian language). His work reflects the astonishing wealth of Jewish heritage, art and tradition while bridging ancient images to present themes. The vibrant colors and fluid lines of his art are meant to evoke a feeling of liveliness. Calendars, magnets and greeting cards are available in Alef - the bookshop in the Venice ghetto.

from June 1 to September 30 from 10 am to 7 pm, from October 1 to May 31 from 10 am to 5:30 pm ( ticket office close at 5 pm)
The museum is close on Saturday and on Jewish holidays, on December 25, on January 1 and May 1.
