A first church was built in 850 AD and was dedicated to all Saints. In 983 a second church was built next to the other and was dedicated to Pope Silvestro I. In 1485 also the oratory of Ognissanti was incorporated in parish. The inside, a single nave with in neoclassical style, with a semicircular apsis, by Lorenzo Santi dates back to 1843. In 1909  Giuseppe Sicher made a new neoclassical facade, enriched with the statue of San Silvestro.
