Don Giovanni is an opera in two acts by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. It is the second of three Italian operas that the Austrian composer wrote on request by Lorenzo Da Ponte (who was in the service of the Emperor of Austria), which was used extensively in many literary sources from that era.
