To celebrate the 1600 years of Venice Ocean Space will put a particular focus on training young generations, teachers and educators in reflecting on the role of the arts in the climate emergency and in the lagoon preservation. In October 2021, Ocean Space will be opening its doors to the school community, inviting school leaders, teachers and educators to participate in the presentation of its educational and training mission for the 2021/2022 school year. Ocean Space educational programming aims to motivate and engage the community of teachers, students and their families on issues relating to pressing global environmental and social challenges. This educational activity aims to encourage the development of a broader awareness in order to participate in the evolution of our complex and constantly shifting contemporary society.
