Bevilacqua La Masa Foundation - Palazzetto Tito

Dorsoduro, 2826
30123 Venice VE

Tito’s Palazzetto, previously the haunt of venetian artists Ettore and Luigi Tito who also designed the friezes on the façade, houses the offices of the Bevilacqua La Masa Foundation, while the display rooms are reserved for expository events, book presentations, cultural projects and other varied initiatives: an elastic space for extemporaneous events that supports the spontaneous yet consistent flow of work from artists. The institutional part of Bevilacqua La Masa Foundation also is home to a small but interesting selection of contemporary art publications available to the public and the Archive, continuously brought up to date, which collects and displays portfolios by many young artists. The space has also been used for meetings and conventions.

How to get there
The quickest route on foot from Piazzale Roma is to follow the Fondamenta dei Tre Ponti until you reach Campo S. Margherita. From there proceed towards San Barnaba and cross the bridge of the Pugni. To your left you will notice a large boat selling fruit and vegetables, and to your right, just a little ways along the canal, an orange flag hanging above the entrance of Palazzetto Tito.
If you arrive by boat (Line 1), which gives you the chance to admire the palaces along the Grand Canal, get off at Ca' Rezzonico which is opposite the canal from Palazzo Grassi. Follow the street until you reach Campo San Barnaba. Cross the campo diagonally until you reach the Fondamenta di Rio San Barnaba. Follow the canal for a few hundred feet (past the bridge on your right) until you reach the entrance of Pallazzetto Tito.
