1917-2017: a hundred years ago in Venice, on the island of San Servolo, opened the Military Department for the Observation of Psychical and Nervous Diseases. Within 10 months, from February to November 1917, it hosted over 200 soldiers coming back from the front or waiting to leave. From the medical records emerge stories and fragments of life that represent the tragedy of those years. The exhibition wants to give voice to those kids whose youth was canceled, through historical documents, graphics and artistic productions.
