Venitian and Turkish composers among XVII and XVIII century

Fabio Tricomi: daf frame drum, Tonbak (zarb) goblet drum, vielle kamançe
Over the course of time, the relationships between Venice and Byzantium - first renamed Constantinople and then Istanbul - were marked by phases of ostentatious closure as well as moments of amiable curiosity towards each other. The Ensemble Maraghi will play pieces collected by Venetians and compositions presented at the Ottoman court in the the 17th and 18th centuries.
