In the MUVE Contemporaneo Pavilion the public will be enthralled by a strongly identifying theme for Venice: water and the sea (but also the sky that embraces both to infinity), presented in the form of an unprecedented conversation between the visual arts, installations, artists’ videos and cinematography. After the success of the first two years at Forte Marghera with the exhibitions Motocicletta.
L’architettura della velocità (2018) and Ritratto di famiglia (2017), the 2019 project presents a selection of extraordinary paintings related to this theme, revisited by contemporary artists working mainly in the fields of photography, video art and installations.
The result is a lively encounter between history and the present.
A cinematic accompaniment of powerful impact and with unusual montages will transform the space into an exceptional itinerary, where it will be easy to pause in order to make the most of this allencompassing experience of water, sea and sky.
As in previous years, free entry will promote the presence of young people, frequent visitors to Forte Marghera, and also visitors who are eager to experience contemporary art.
