Two bell towers that link Venice to New York in a masterly and inseparable way.
July 14, 1902, is a particular date for Venice: the collapse of the bell tower of San Marco. Even more so this year in which the 1600 years of the birth of Venice is celebrated. The anniversary will be honoured, Wednesday 14 in a solemn and evocative nighttime event wanted and organised by the Venetian sculptor Giorgio Bortoli, a member of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage. The ceremony will begin at 9 pm and will be hosted in the Loggetta of Bell Tower of San Marco thanks to the Procuratoria of San Marco’s availability, particularly the First Procurator Carlo Alberto Tesserin.
