As part of the 1600th anniversary celebrations of the foundation of Venice, the Dominican friars of Saints John and Paul will be recreating that ancient bond between the religious and the lay brotherhoods of the “Scuole”. This initiative aims to look deeper into and rediscover the relationship between the Dominicans and the confraternity that were of a religious nature devoted to a saint, including the wealthiest and most impressive of them all in Venice: the Scuola Grande di San Marco.
