Home Festival 2019
Home Venice Festival, one of the most long-awaited events of the Italian summer festivals, will be taking place from July 12 to 14. After nine years in Treviso, the international festival celebrates its tenth anniversary in Venice.
Great expectations after the announcement of the first four artists: Paul Kalkbrenner, LP, Editors and Young Thug. Early bird tickets are available until March 12.
Home Venice Festival aims at being a guide and marking a direction with a fresh young line-up, keeping up with some of the biggest international festivals, from Primavera Sound to the Flow Festival and Coachella. The artistic blend has been completely renewed and is ready to set the trend. But now we come to the next guests, who are added to the line up on stage: Pusha T, Mura Masa and The Vaccines.
Friday, July 12, the indie rock band, The Vaccines, will be performing to unleash the crowd of Home Venice. With their fourth album, Combat Sports, released in May 2018, the Vaccines put aside their pop experimentation of the past and have focused on the elements that helped them climb the charts with their debut album in 2010: guitars, speed, realism and catchy refrains.
Saturday, July 13, the world rap scene takes the stage with Pusha T, the US rapper from the Bronx. Pusha T’s career began in 2010, first singing with his brother, then as a soloist, until he recorded his first studio album "My Name Is My Name", which topped n° 4 in the Billboard 200 charts. Pusha T confirms his rank, following Kanye and becoming part of the G.O.O.D. Music group. West becomes a sponsor and promoter, and participates in the masterpiece "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" as an initiation and blessing. Between 2011 and 2014 Pusha T starts important artistic collaborations with Pixie Lott, Tyler, The Creator, Kanye West, Future, Rick Ross and Chris Brown, to name but a few. Last year, "King Pusha" is named best rapper of 2018 and returns with his third album "Daytona", which is entirely produced by the famous Kanye West.
Sunday, July 14, to take the stage is the young electronic producer, composer and multi-instrumentalist Alex Crossan, aka Mura Masa, who at the very young age of twenty-one is already one of the most highly rated electronic producers in Great Britain. Born and raised in Guernsey, an island in the English Channel, Mura Masa is noticed by the record industry in 2014 after sharing the "Soundtrack to a Death" mixtape online, and signs with Polydor. His debut EP "Someday Somewhere ", containing" Lovesick " is released and reaches number one in Spotify's viral ranking. His single "What If I Go", with the Dublin singer Bonzai, from the debut album "Mura Masa" is released in 2017, with the prestigious collaborations of Damon Albarn, Christine and the Queens and A$AP Rocky.
