Being Venice - Venice and the Justice is the 12th and the last event of the project Venice Re-vealed which will be presented on September, 20th: at 6 pm Essere Venezia - Being Venice will propose a big collective performance in Saint Mark’s square, and following to this mo-ment, at 8.30 pm, we will present a reading on the themes of Venice and the Justice. The first part of the appointment will present a collective performance in Saint Mark’s square: a heart that will light up after sunset, as unequivocal expression of the great love of the Ve-netians - residing or “del cuore” (loving Venice) - for this unique city.
All participants will be dressed all in white, the color of purity, justice and hope, to recall the great history of the Serenissima Republic in the field of human rights and justice. All participants will be painted with an artistic heart on their face, thanks to the volunteer facepainter and to Diamond FX (specialized company that will offer colours to paint the body) and will receive as a present a white umbrella offered by Al Duca d’Aosta, which will create a striking image never seen be-fore in this square, that will go all around the world. The performance of collective human land art, conceived and coordinated by the artist Elena Tagliapietra, will be realized by about 1000 Venetians and will show “inside the heart” some dance artistic performances made by the protagonists of the previous appointments.
