From 6th September 2018 to 6th January 2019, the Casa dei Tre Oci in Venice pays tribute to the great French photographer Willy Ronis (1910-2009).
The exhibition, the most complete retrospective of the great French photographer in Italy, presents 120 vintage images, including a dozen unpublished works dedicated to Venice, and documents, books and letters never before exhibited.
The exhibition, curated by Matthieu Rivallin, co-produced by the Jeu de Paume of Paris and the Médiathèque de l'architecture et du patrimoine, Ministry of culture - France, with the participation of the Venice Foundation, organized by Civita Tre Venezie, presents 120 images vintage, including a dozen unreleased dedicated to Venice, able to retrace the entire career of one of the greatest interpreters of twentieth century photography and protagonist of the French humanist movement,
