VelaRaid is a boat tour in 5 days, from 17 to 21 May 2016, wandering around the Venice Lagoon, between water and land, discovering the quietest and most poetic spots of the Venice not normally seen by tourists, uncontaminated by roaring engines. Classic boats together with the more modern and performing ones, will engage and overtake playing with the wind in order to reach, when the light will set west and the moorings will be safe, the same goal: share everything the day has donated with the others. Tricky tides, invisible sand spots, whimsical winds and unforeseeable weather make the raid an authentic lagoon safari, a nautical adventure which is unique in its genre. It’s a competition in which, aside from the final result, the first prize is for everyone because those who participate win an adventure which they won’t forget very easily.
