Extended until 26 February 2018, at the Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa, the exhibition Amedeo Renzini "Identikit" presenting an unprecedented reflection dedicated to the Venetian painter of which is the centenary of his birth (11 October 1917). The exhibition, curated by Toni Toniato, aims to investigate some of the key points, but still to be explored, of art history, shedding light on the emblematic person of Amedeo Renzini. Through careful selection of paintings, drawings, sketches, games, studies, notes, texts and documents you can enter in the atelier of this scholar of the human figure and reconstruct the strokes, the peculiarities, the character: the identikit.
Among the works on display the two large ' loops ' (the 1976 American story and the tree of life of 1987). Among other major works on display, some of the ceilings (early ' 70) submitted to the personal Phanku Palace and ceilings ("restatement of the eighteenth-century ceilings of Venetian palaces in an explosion of colors ), conical Buttons and Canebambù (dedicated to the war of liberation of the Vietnamese people) and a personal reinterpretation of the the Vitruvian Man by Leonardo. To complete the path a series of drawings and works on paper, including some collages from the series of Sketches, which define and reinforce the development of the whole autobiographical work of Renzini.
