The church of San Simeone Piccolo was built in IX Century, but the current building was designed by G. Scalfarotto in XVIII Century. The inspiration for the project was the Pantheon, and was probably ment to be similar to the Church of Salute, on the other side of the Canal Grande.
The church is currently closed to the public.
