Venice Triennale 2015 - Freedom in the Art
Art has experienced radical changes in recent times, so much that the currents, in which the ideas followed an orientation and an uniform expressive stile, dissolved. This fragmentation of artistic canons come together in the project proposed for the Palazzo Albrizzi, in which sufficient freedom of expression is provided to the artist, be that painting, sculpture, video, installations, performance, occasionally in a poetic-musical context.
In the exhibition area of the historical Palazzo are exposed works traceable to a topic, whose common eponym is heard universally: "Natura Nutrix - Homo Vorax".
The exhibition conceived for 2015 moves between two poles: the nature, gracious mother, and the human, greedy of power that he attacks her. To defend herself, the Nature makes herself stepmother. Therefore on one side artistic expressions of a new avant-garde, that present us a world in which we would like to live; on the other side expressions of a violent and contaminated nature.
