Incroci di Civiltà 2018
International festival of Literature, Venice
Eleven, as the number of exhibitions organized; twenty-five, like the writers hosted; twenty-one, as the countries they represent: these are the three numbers, which will surely win, 2018 Edition of "Crossroads of civilization". The International Festival of literature in Venice, sponsored by the University of Ca ' Foscari, in collaboration with Comune di Venezia, Fondazione Musei civici, Fondazione di Venezia, Hotel Bauer and Maddox, to be held from 4 to 7 April, with many and of great thickness appointments, which will take place in seven different venues: teatro Goldoni (which will host the opening ceremony, Wednesday, April 4, at 18, with the writer Ian McEwan),Casa dei tre Oci, the Fondaco dei Tedeschi, the Foundation Querini Stampalia, the theatre of Palazzo Grassi, the women's prison of Giudecca (where the 6 April, at 16, is IAS – Questioning to writing ' with Eraldo Affinati ') and the Auditorium Santa Margherita (where the event finale, April 7, at 6pm, with guest Nobel 1986 Wole Soyinka).
This year, to get closer to the Festival the event "Towards Crossings ', is scheduled for March 12 to 28, with meetings with the authors Christofer Bollen, Atiq Rahimi, Jennifer Egan and Ian McEwan.
