The second Sunday of September in the Riviera del Brenta the event Riviera Fiorita will take place. A big procession of historical boats with a large number of extras and oarsmen will get down the Naviglio del Brenta.
The event will start in front of Villa Pisani in Stra where the exchange of gifts between the Doge and the King will occur. Next, the procession of boats will bring the Doge and the King in Dolo (Ve) and then the procession will continue until Villa Contarini dei Leoni in Mira. Finally, the procession will finish in Venice.
But that is not all. The event will continue all over the Riviera del Brenta with music, dances and food and wine stands.
