Double Sense: tactile itineraries at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection
A pathway of accessibility dedicated to people with visual impairments which will bring them the experience of some of the masterpieces collected by the American patron via the sense of touch, reproduced in relief on resin tablets.
Visitors who are blind or visually-impaired - and also those who are sighted - will be invited to join us along guided tactile paths that will allow all to enjoy some of the works from the permanent collection and two masterpieces from the temporary exhibition VS Gaitonde.
In parallel with the four dates of guided tours and workshops, children aged 6 to 12 years will have the opportunity to participate in four Sunday workshops at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, which are part of the Kids Day programme, led by Felice Tagliaferri (November 1 & 15, December 13 and January 10, from 3 to 4.30p.m.).
For information, email doppiosenso@guggenheim-venice.it. For reservations, telephone +39 0412405401/444. Lines are open from the Monday before each event.
