Topics:

For the first time original artifacts and secret documents come out from museums and private collections.

Suggestive sets, testimonies and unpublished documents, death machines, real plastinated bodies are just some of the elements that contribute to make Venice Secrets a unique exhibition of its kind and show mysteries, secrets, death and darkness.

In a Venetian Palace, through a five-story route divided into 36 rooms, the visitor is able to know the secret side of the city, to discover some of the most grim stories, the penalties inflicted and the numerous death sentences for the most various crimes.

Thousands of mutilated people, branded on fire, tried for sodomy, burned alive, drowned and killed on the gallows, live in these rooms with the sole purpose of making their story known to the visitor.

Plastinated corpses and numerous real human organs are also be exhibited in a reconstructed anatomic theater to testify how the bodies of those condemned to death were daily used for the anatomy studies between Padua and Venice.

The most important and terrifying death and torture machines used as an instrument of justice are visible.
