VE
The school of San Teodoro, the first patron saint of Venice, was built from 1580 by a guild of merchants and artisans that used to live in Church of San Salvador. The project by Simone Sorella was then enlarged by Francesco and Tommaso Contin.
The Capitolare Hall designed by Baldassarre Longhena, is adorned with paintings by Vassilacchi, Jacopo Palma il Giovane, Balestra, Bassano.

From 1999 the Orchestra I Musici Veneziani started organizing their concert season in the church, and it is now one of the most prestigious Concert Rooms in Venice.
