Da Mula Palace is one of the best remaining "Grand Palazzo" on Murano island. It dates from the 15th Century and is a nice example of Venetian Gothic architecture.
Palaces on Murano had an advantage to those in Venice – There was more available space for gardens, a rarity in Venice.
