At Fondazione Querini Stampalia, on saturday 14th July, at 10.00am and 11.00am, a feast in which sacred and profane live side by side and one of the most loved by Venitians.
From the plague with its representations, to the Palladian project for the Redentore’s Church, to the iconography of this solemnity… The narrator will lead you through archive documents and paintings of one of the most important families in the Serenissima: the Querini Stampalia, to discover the origins and the traditions of a Venetian celebration that has been alive for centuries.
